St. Joe Louis | Brooklyn Bowl | BFS

Monday night we headed out to Brooklyn in support of our homies St. Joe Louis who were in the finals of the Show & Prove competition. This was the kick off to the Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival Via Brooklyn Bodega. Great performances by ALL, But..... SJL should have taken it, and close behind them would be The Crowd, they were also great in my opinion. Congrats to Kalae All Day who also killed it and earned her spot on Saturdays Brooklyn Hip Hop Festival show case.

Brooklyn Banks Officially Closed

After countless "last sessions" and 5boro fighting to keep the spot accessible for skating, The Brooklyn Banks are officially closed until 2014... A chain link fence surrounds the entire big banks as well as the 9 stair rail up top. Rumors are that SteveR is working on plans to get the banks turned into a skate plaza when the spot re-opens in 4 years adding more ledges/steps/rails and brick banks to match the current skateable terrain. Looks like we will have to keep our fingers crossed. SteveR thanks all who have supported 5boro as you directly helped save the banks from completely being shut down forever 4 years ago.
