Halloween Parade on Lakeview Ave | Clifton NJ

Clifton NJ's "Annual Halloween Parade" down Lakeview Ave, We look forward to this parade every year, a great way to interact with our neighbors, some who we already had the pleasure of meeting and some of whom we meet for the first time. Its great for kids and grown ups alike, they all come out and give us a preview of how much Fun Halloween in Clifton NJ really is, Even the Pets join in on the fun. The parade ends at Nash Park were vendors set up and kids get to be kids.

If you missed it this year, no worries, there is always next year!!

In memory of Deveran “Bleek” Ashe

Friday night BFS had the pleasure of attending a fund raiser for the family of fallen friend, Poet and MC, Deveran "Bleek" Ashe. Fellow friends/poets K.Desiree & Lynn MeloDix put together what was a night of great Hip Hop in memory of "Bleek". As the night went on you really felt the love each person who knew him had for him, which was very contagious to some of us who didn't know him. We all know someone whose life was cut short, so in many ways it hits home.

A special thanks to all the artist who made this night more of a celebration of his life, and keeping his memory alive, Daniel Joseph, Fresh Daily, St. Joe Louis, Brokn Englsh, R.A.P. Phenomenal, Rhymaggedon, DJ Maxx Jerome, Silent Knight & Kon with The Band Called FUSE.

A great night for a great cause. All proceeds were donated to the family of Deveran “Bleek” Ashe
